GCP reduced Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL pricing 10% across all instance sizes. db-n1-standard-4 (4vCPU/15GB) now $182/month (was $202). HA configuration adds 100% (unchanged). Backups unchanged.
TCOIQ: GCP Cloud SQL PostgreSQL is now competitive with Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server for 4-8 vCPU HA configurations. Still more expensive than OCI MySQL HeatWave for equivalent workloads. If on Cloud SQL without HA, add HA now — the 10% cut offsets much of the HA cost increase.
